The Garbage Man 's Pickup Guidelines


All regular pick ups must follow these guidelines:

Trash must be out on the curb by 6 am.

Trash must be bagged and contained.

Limit the weekly amount of garbage to either 2 (96gal) cans or 4 (30-50gal) cans.

Please bag or bundle any/all yard waste and leave outside of cans.

4* bags of yard waste are allowed in addition to the regular cans.

Make sure that branches are cut to 3-4.5 ft in length and bundled. Bundles must be manageable.

A Good Rule of Thumb:

If you have any item(s) that you would not NORMALLY have on a weekly basis, give us a call!

*Excess yard materials can be picked up for an additional fee if scheduled in advance.

The Garbage Man unfortunately cannot pickup the following items, because they are either prohibited by law or too heavy/unmanageable for our guys to pickup:

Batteries/Car Batteries/Battery Acid
Wet Paint
Motor Oil
Anti-Freeze/Toxic Chemicals
Dead Animals/Body Parts
Electric Generators/Motors/Engines
Medical Waste
Hazardous/Toxic Waste
No Automotive Parts Whatsoever
Trash CANNOT be shared with any other household.
Flooring (i.e. carpet, wood, linoleum, etc)
Dry Wall
Wood (i.e. 2x4s, planks, siding, fencing, etc)
These materials (or items like them) can be picked up for an additional charge and MUST be scheduled separately beforehand.
PLEASE CALL AHEAD If you have any items that are UNUSUAL
(i.e. construction/remodeling materials, appliances) to verify whether or not pick-up is possible.

If your pick up amount exceeds the above mentioned limit or if you are in need of a 
large item pick up, 
please call our office at least one week in advance.
Our office hours are 7AM to 4PM Monday-Thursday, 7AM - Noon Friday
